Eligibility Criteria (as on July 1, 2025)

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to be considered for the Local Bank Officer position.

Nationality

A candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanent settlement.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 21 years

  • Maximum Age: 30 years

Relaxation in the upper age limit is provided for reserved categories as follows:

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must possess a Graduation degree in any discipline from a university or institute recognized by the Government of India or AICTE.

  • Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant, Engineering, or Medical degrees are also accepted.

Experience

  • A minimum of one year of post-qualification experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank is mandatory.

  • Important Note: Experience in NBFCs, cooperative banks, Payment Banks, Small Finance Banks, or fintech companies will not be considered.

Language Proficiency

Candidates must be proficient (able to read, write, and understand) in the local language of the state for which they are applying.


Salary and Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be appointed to the Junior Management Grade / Scale-I (JMG/S-I). The pay scale is as follows:

Additionally, candidates with one or more years of relevant work experience will be granted one advance increment.






Selection Process

The selection process for the BOB LBO Recruitment 2025 involves multiple stages:

  1. Online Test: Eligible candidates will undergo an online examination.

  2. Psychometric Test: A psychometric assessment will be conducted to evaluate the candidate's alignment with the bank's core values and sales aptitude.

Negative Marking
